What is KALEIDOSCOPE?
KALEIDOSCOPE is an exhibition within Colchester Library to celebrate LGBTQ+ History Month 2023. The event will run for the whole of February and feature LGBTQ+ authors, poets and artisits.
The Library has funding for the literary parts of the event, I am looking for funding for the artistic parts. The amount raised from this fundraiser with pay for the costs of decorating the space, funding a large community art wall and an interactive instalation.
WHO AM I?
My name is Tom Stock and I'm a local creative, MA Film & Lit student and pansexual father of one human and two cats. We all know representation matters and my aim is to platform to work of local LGBTQ+ artists through the exhibition. The library has funding for many amazing free workshops and events but as I am an independant artisit I am a volunteer. This small amount would help cover the costs of art supplies and equipment for the event for myself and other artisits involved.
