KALEIDOSCOPE LGBTQ+ PROJECT
KALEIDOSCOPE is a Colchester based LGBTQ+ Project that celebrates the local queer community through pop-up events. Initially focused during LGBTQ+ History Month in February, for 2024 the project is expanding to a pop up during national Pride month in June. This pop up will feature exhibitons and workshops and be free to all. Located in Culver Square, Colchester it will open to the public for the whole of June and hold a free workshop everyday at 2pm. Your story
My name is Tom Stock and I'm a local creative, MA Film & Lit student and pansexual father of one human and two cats. We all know representation matters and my aim is to platform to work of local LGBTQ+ peoples during Pride month in June.
Where will the money go?
- General costs of art supplies and decorations £200
- Sound Equipment: £300
- Production costs: £400
- Printing costs : £300
Rewards
- £10 - A donation of £10 or more will get your name on our thank You list of amazing sponsers displayed in the exhibition
- £20 - A donation of £20 or more will get you an invitation to our VIP launch event before KALEIDOSCOPE opens to the pulic. Details TBC
- If you are business or organisation then a minimum donation of £200 will get your logo on the front of our pop up shop located in Culver Square Colchester. This area has a footfall of around 300,000 per month and your logo will be displayed throughout May and June. The bigger your donation the bigger your logo will be featured throughout KALEIDOSCOPE.
