Willis & Vere are back in London with WILLIS & VERE: GENIUS at the VAULT Festival from 11-15 March 2020.

Who?

Willis & Vere are a comedy writing partnership from East 15 Acting School.

The company was formed when we took our first show, interview with a genius, to the Free Fringe at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2015. The show was a semi-improvised comedy show with live music and videography. It received a Pick of the Fringe from EdFringeReview.com.

We then decided to write our first proper play, The Starship Osiris. After previews at the Pleasance, Islington in 2015 and The Lion & Unicorn in 2016 we took the show to the Underbelly at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2016. The show was a surprise success and allowed us to take it to the VAULT Festival in London, Leeds, Rye, Birmingham, the Brighton Fringe Festival and then back to the Underbelly in 2017 in a larger venue.

We then started work on A Serious Play About World War II, that ran until its final performances at the King's Head Theatre in February 2019. After a run of The Starship Osiris at the Soho Theatre in August 2019 we started work on something new...

Why?

This is our third major production and we have spent the last six months filming and editing footage and compiling the live show. The VAULT Festival run comes with certain costs, so we are seeking £750 of crowdfunding. The first £500 will be for advertising and the next £250 will be for photoshoots, costume and some filming costs.

But we are not a charity, so in exchange for donating we are offering the following rewards:
