A short summary of your project

Fortunately, a short film I made, GSP: The Tea Master, has made it to compete at the international stage, at the Dada Saheb Phalke International Film Festival, this year. Hence, I'm here, trying to generate 3600 pounds, to attend the film festival and bring the name of the University of Essex to a whole new level.

Who are you?

Hey there everyone! I am Udhayan Uththiran Umaimainthan here. I am a law student with a passion for filmmaking. 

Your story

A lot of you may wonder, what is the Dada Saheb Phalke International Film Festival.

-The Biggest Film Festival With a consistency in its non-biased judgements

-Graced by Big Stars, Production Houses, and Directors from around the globe

-This attendance is everything and more to us as filmmakers, more so as student filmmakers, as it provides us with the opportunity to network with these production houses, hence helping us secure a solid future in an unstable work environment.

For us, the greatest impact that this would have for you, as donors is that, you will be the foundation to a student built monopoly in the near future.

Where will the money go?

The money will be mainly used to cover up the travel expenditures that will be incurred for the 4 day 3 night trip.

The money will go into our assets for the founding of our production house when we meet angel Investors to pitch our production house and cinematic universe to them.

Me and my team will update the entirety of the project via a vlog which we have in plan.

Our cost breakdown is as follows:

Plane tickets: £750

Accomodation: £200

Transportation: £500

Food, Miscellaneous: £700
