Going straight to gay ...or something in-between
Being in a gay relationship is not always a dance on roses (yes, that's a Danish expression), especially if you used to be in straight relationships. Going Straight to Gay (or something in-between) is a play about just that. But funny.
I've experimented between using the monologue based structure and mixing it with stand-up comedy.
Last week I signed a contract with Bread and Roses Theatre, so now I only need the last pieces of puzzles to fall into place. Quite important pieces, I may say.
That's why I'm raising money to help me make my show worthy of an audience. 'Oh another play... why should we wanna go and see it?' you may ask - because I do think it's important to have more plays about same sex couples and the experiences you encounter when you don't just 'follow the norm'. With that said, I do think most people can relate to my material no matter who they find attractive in their life.

Where will the money go?
- What will you spend the funding on if you hit your minimum?
To just get the necessary props, and to buy as much food and beverages for the people on board as possible.
- Where will the money go if you hit your full target?
Then I'll be able to advertise, buy flyers and posters, buy costume and to just make the show a whole lot better.
- What will you do with extra funds if things really take off and you raise more than your target?
Then I will save them to try and get my one woman show on tour.
- How often will you give updates on progress when you're running your project or campaign?
I'm planning to be posting once a week on social media and share amongst friends, co-workers and in different groups.
