Helping orphaned and wounded animals in South Africa

Hello !!!

My name is Magdalena Kotulska and I am fundraising for a volunteer job in a wildlife sanctuary in South Africa during this summer.

About the Wildlife Sanctuary:

The Wildlife Sanctuary is approximately 45 minutes from Johannesburg in the Hartebeespoort area. This sanctuary serves as a safe haven for orphaned or injured animals that would otherwise not be able to survive on their own. Their goal is to ensure the health and safety of all the animals.

About my role:

During this project I will be able to help orphaned or injured animals that would otherwise not be able to survive on their own. This includes elephants, lions, tigers, cheetahs, spotted hyenas, white lions, and hippos, as well as free-range game, such as giraffes, wildebeest, zebras, warthogs, impalas, waterbucks, and the red hartebeest. My typical day will start with cleaning out animal enclosures, going on an elephant walks and then working on my Animal Life Improvement Project.

Plan of the Project:

Day 1, Wednesday: Arrive at Johannesburg O.R. Tambo International Airport (JNB).

Day 2, Thursday: Participate in a city and cultural tour of Johannesburg.

Day 3, Friday: Volunteers will transfer to the Wildlife Sanctuary and get settled in to their new home.

Day 4, Saturday: Rewarding volunteer work at the wildlife sanctuary.

Day 5, Sunday: Free day for volunteers to explore the area.

Days 6-9, Monday-Thursday: Rewarding volunteer work at the wildlife sanctuary.

What I need to take part in it:

For this project I need to raise £2,100, this includes:

-voluntary fee £910

-flights around £750

-vaccination £440

Thanks to this project I will be able to improve the quality of animals life and make a difference in the future of wild animals in Africa by finishing Animal Life Improvement Project.

Thank you.
