Trouble’s a-brewing in the Kingdom of Colchester! Can you help Snow White and her friends in stopping the Wicked Queen in time for the festive season?

Oh, Magic Mirror on the Wall, who is the fairest of them all? The Wicked Queen, who is renowned for her beauty across the land, faces a new challenger – Snow White! Joined by her best friend Billy the Jester, his mum Dame Dolly, and a host of other colourful characters, including a rhyming Magic Mirror, the dastardly Soggy and Bottom and a big, strong, potentially handsome Huntsman, come on an adventure through the Kingdom filled with song, dance and comedy to find out who is the fairest of them all! Oh, and we can’t forget the Rock’n’Rollin Dwarfs!

Directed by Tyler Reuben, with Assistant Director Peter Vetere, this adaptation of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, by Angelina Harvey, is fun for all the family!

Who are tas?

Home of all things theatre here at Essex University, the Theatre Arts Society has been spreading Panto fun and Christmas cheer for many years now. Being a 14-year gold standard society, and one of the largest societies on campus, there is a place for everyone in TAS, whether you are a serious theatre fanatic, you want to develop your acting skills, or you just want to enjoy our exciting weekly workshops. TAS operates entirely on a not-for-profit basis with most of our funding coming from memberships and fundraising- that's why we need you!

Where will your money go?

£200 on Costumes: Ensuring all our cast are dressed to the nines for Prince Henry's Ball.
£200 on Set design: Helping evil queen's castle look that extra bit evil.
£100 on Props: Making sure all our aspiring superstar dwarfs have some rocking instruments to (try to) play.
Any spare cash goes back into the society to help us fund future shows, workshops, socials and our end of year celebrations.
