Benda Nemo, a real place of fairy tales, reveals its mysteries through GRANNY's fragmented memories,

 I'm raising £2000 to "The Pillow, The Sun and The Dinosaur " which will create a magic journey exploring the heartfelt story of Alzheimer's.

OUr story

Memories may fade, but emotions last forever.The Pillow, The Sun, and The Dinosaur is an original play inspired by magical realism. It tells the poignant story of individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease and the families who support them. Through imaginative scenes, emotional dialogue, and bold visual storytelling, this play delves into the inner world of those affected, while exploring the essence of love, memory, and family.

This is more than just a performance. It’s a conversation about social issues, a call to love, and a tribute to those who may be forgotten.

Who are you?

Shawn is a director and production artist in theatre and film. Shawn has been working on multiple fringe theatre productions with different roles.

Our team  The Pudding Club  Theatre Company is formed with an international and diverse ensemble, established in March 2024. Its members include director, writer, and designer.

We are committed to exploring social issues, with previous projects (named The Pudding Club) covering key topics such as reproductive rights, mental health issues and toxic work environments. It performed at Hen & Chickens Theatre in 2024 Camden Fringe and 2023 The Vaults Festival. Our new project, The Pillow, The Sun and The Dinosaur, focuses on the Alzheimer's disease community. Through different kinds of interviews, we strive to reveal these pressing issues and initiate discussions.

Continuing to push boundaries, we are actively engaged in the ongoing development and experimentation of novel concepts. We aim to present these innovative ideas on a broader stage.

Where will the money go?

We promise to use every penny to bring The Pillow, The Sun, and The Dinosaur to life in the best way possible. If we hit our minimum goal, we will:

  • Venue hire : £1000
  • Lighting and AV equipment hire : £200
  • Cast and crew fees: £500
  • Set design and props: £300

If we hit our full target:

  • We will extend our rehearsal schedule to perfect every detail.
  • Hire a professional photographer to document the production, creating promotional videos and photos to share this story widely.
  • Organize a special performance for Alzheimer’s patients and their families, free of charge.

If we exceed our funding goal:

  • We will plan additional performances and even take the show on tour to other cities.
