A Short summary of my project
I'm raising £1300 to take the 1-month course of Innovation and Entrepreneurship in a Swedish Context in Linköping University (LiU) this coming July. This course will help enhance my knowledge in regard to innovation management and will give me a deep insight into technologies and industry dynamics as well as business planning from a Swedish perspective. I believe learning to be innovative and an entrepreneur in one of the most innovative countries in the world will build me a strong foundation on which to develop my future career.
Who am i?
I am Koh Chi Shyang from Malaysia studying Economics as my degree in the University of Essex. This course in LiU interests me because I believe that innovative entrepreneurs don't just do business, they change people's lives.
Your story
The reason I applied to this course is because I do not like boring business. I have seen many creative, innovative and cool Swedish businesses like cafe/restaurants, boutique shops or some factories with interesting themes and ideas. Another reason is I believe that Sweden is the most innovative country is many Swedish companies have improved our living quality to another level, which is very impressive to me. Therefore, this is a very good chance for me to study there and understand their innovation and entrepreneurship better.
Where will the money go?
The donation will be 100% spent on this study program in Sweden. The following is the breakdown of the costs:
- Accommodation - £450
- Flight ticket - £200
- Living cost (meal and personal expenses) - £400
- Insurance - £50
- Excursions and field trips - £200
Any additional funds raised will enable me to take advantage of additional cultural opportunities during my studies.
