My project
Join me in making a difference with Travelteer Impact! As a volunteer nurse, I will be privileged to witness first-hand the incredible work this organization does to empower underdeveloped communities and their environments in Sri Lanka and Nepal. But they can't do it alone. That's why I'm participating in a two-week personal challenge on August, 2024, to raise funds for this amazing cause.
I will be taking part in a Nursing Placement in Sri Lanka, visiting government and private hospitals and local healthcare practitioners. The experience provides ethical work experience for Nursing and Midwifery students and offers access to Sri Lanka's healthcare system, giving a real insight into one of the busiest medical environments in the world. During the placement, I will learn about various forms of healthcare found in Sri Lankan communities, where I will be shadowing practitioners in both Western and Ayurvedic medicine fields. I will also have the opportunity to enhance my skill set through mentorship from local professionals while immersing myself in the vibrant culture and tropical landscapes of Sri Lanka.
I am thrilled to volunteer as a nurse in Sri Lanka and contribute to Travelteer Impact efforts. I aim to raise as much as possible for this worthy cause, and every donation counts towards making a positive impact. Your support will directly contribute to Travelteer Impact's mission of empowering communities and improving lives.
