A short summary of your project

We as a society are raising money for our upcoming UK tour which is due in the upcoming Easter holidays! All the members will avail of this opportunity and it will be the best educational trip of your life!

Who are you?

I, Hamza Ahmed Siddiqui am the Vice-president of Pakistan Society in the University of Essex and I am currently raising funds alongside with Haris Bhatti, our society's Treasurer for our upcoming tour.

Your story

From last year to current times, we have brought our society to the highest peak as last year it was pretty much dead and then I and Ayub (President) revived this society and promised that we will portray the amazing culture of Pakistan and give all the students at university the best experience and exposure of Pakistan.

This year is very important for us as not only are we putting all our effort in but also we are trying very hard to achieve all the goals and badges so that at the end of the year we can get the Gold standard which is basically a recognition given to any society which determines at what rank are you in competition of other societies.

This year we are raising money for our upcoming UK trip and we need your help to raise funds for it. We have to hit our maximum target and thus every penny counts.

Where will the money go?

• All the money is funded for the UK tour, if we hit our minimum target we will go to London.
• 3 days London bus tour: £45 per person (for 11 people) 
• If we hit our full target we will go further in the UK like in Scotland to Edinburgh and Glasgow.
• We plan to divide the money break down for travel as follows:
• Return air trip > £ 44 per person 
• Edinburgh to Glasgow by bus > £2.5 per person
• Total for approx (15 people) = £660 + £37.5= £697.5
• The extra funds raised will be used to lessen the cost of utilities for the individual taking part in the trip.
• The cost of lodging and food will be handled by the members themselves.

These trips are all educational, to explore the culture, heritage each city has to give us. We will go around different universities for tour and look out for opportunities they have to offer us. Learn the languages, experience the food and above all represent our Pakistan society from the University of Essex. We will all be travelling in groups strengthening our bonds and confidence.
