Our Story
The law society has upheld an annual tradition of holding a law ball for students and staff to celebrate hard work and excellence. However, this year society and law school funding has been considerably cut. The law society is now working to gather funds to continue this long-standing tradition.
Who are we?
The Law Society is made up of law and non-law students who are interested in the modern application of legal precedence. We come together for fun and educational purposes to foster relationships between students who have an interest in the legal field, regardless of their background.
How will we use the Money?
if we hit our minimum, the money will go to covering the rest of the banquet costs! if we meet our maximum, we'll be able to provide amazing decorations, a fabulous photobooth, and the DJ! Here is the breakdown of costs that we are working with:
Venue hire: £350
DJ and entertainment: £356
Photobooth with instant print photos (4 hours): £385
Beautiful and on theme table centers and decor: £400
