Our Project

Welcome to the Southend Fringe Festival!  On 3rd July Southend will be celebrating its rich culture with a variety of performances across two unique venues. Join us for performances in Drama, Comedy and Music in what we hope will be an enjoyable and unforgettable day of entertainment. Performances will be in the Southend Conservative Club and O’Neill’s Music Hall- all within walking distance of each other.

Our Story

The Southend Fringe Festival has been set up by the students of East15 Acting School’s Southend Campus. We hope to incorporate our passion for theatre into the community and cultural landscape of Southend through this pilot Fringe Festival.  We have a large group of passionate students working together to put forward something amazing into the Southend community.  We are working together and creating bonds not only with our peers but also with members of the Southend community.

Why we need your help?

All money raised through Click will go towards necessities for the festival such as: venue hire, lighting and sound equipment, promotional materials, merchandise and ticketing materials.  We are working hard to not only create this festival but set up a template that can carry on after we graduate, there for any profit made from the festival will go straight into next year.

We also have some fab Southend Fringe Fest goodies and rewards to give away to anyone who donates.

Also, you don't need to give money to help us succeed (although it would help). Please share this project with anyone you think would support us – on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, by email, telephone, in a chat over the fence, carrier pigeon, message in a bottle, cryptic message on cave walls or on your blog.  The more people that know the better, there’s going to be something for everyone.
