SoniMind is aiming to raise £300 to help us cover the data costs for Zimbabwean teachers, enrolling in our inclusive education teacher training course. The course will introduce teachers to topics like dyslexia and mental health.
Who are we?
We are SoniMind. A subsidiary of Enactus Essex with the aim of raising awareness and combatting negative stigma against learning difficulties in Zimbabwe.
our story
Zimbabwe's economic situation has been substandard for the better part of two decades. This has impacted the education system terribly. As such, the youth who suffer from learning difficulties are impacted even worse than the rest of the country because of the lack of resources that schools have. Donating towards our project will help to combat these difficulties.
Where will the money go?
- The money goes directly towards paying data fees for teachers accessing our training course. Should we raise more than what we have set out to, the money will go towards the same cause, but on a much greater scale. We will be giving updates once we hit major checkpoints in our campaign, eg. once we reach 1/4 of the goal, etc. The total data cost to train each teacher is £25, therefore the more money we can raise, the more people will benefit.
