A short summary of your project
I'm raising £750 to bring our original play “Spin Cycle” to the prestigious Camden Fringe Festival this year.
Spin Cycle is a queer love story about the space between loving someone and not, forgetting and remembering, and dirty and clean clothes. It is a bittersweet, absurdist piece that delves into a complex relationship and explores how love can affect someone long after it is forgotten.
Spin Cycle is a powerful exploration of a complex breakup, memory, and queer love. It has been created by a passionate team and we believe it has the potential to make a meaningful impact on audiences, sparking important conversations in queer spaces and beyond.
Who are you?
We are Beserk Theatre! “Berserk Theatre” is co-run by Zofia Zerphy and Vilde Bjorkedal. Spin Cycle is their third play, following An Average Family (Adventures in Theatre Land****), and their debut play How to Urn a Living, (Everything Theatre****, Theatre and Art Reviews ****).
