About the project
In Merrily, Merrily, Merrily three friends gather for a boozy night of laughter and existential debates, unraveling the mysteries of Love, The Universe, God, and the proper way to eat a chocolate soufflé. But beneath the drunken chaos, one of them harbours a sinister agenda.
As the night spirals into absurdity and revelation, the boundaries between humour and horror blur, exposing the fragile illusions that keep them tethered to hope. Darkly funny and unnervingly sharp, this play is a wicked exploration of love, faith, and the lies we cling to when the soufflé collapses.
Who are you?
We are actors and creatives who met at East 15 Acting School on the BA Acting (International) course. With international roots and a shared passion for theatre, we spent three years collaborating closely and discovered a mutual drive to do more than just act—we wanted to create, write, direct, and make music. That shared vision led us to form a company. Our dream is to be able to make theatre that lives and excites, and to tell stories that are important and question the way we live our lives. Whether it’s a family drama, a political drama, a coming of age comedy or an old classic - we want to tell stories about being human, and all the beauty and tragedy that comes with it.

Help us succeed
Quid Pro Quo Theatre has already made a name for itself as an established fringe company in London, but to take our work to the biggest Fringe Festival in the world is an important step in our journey to becoming a prominent fully funded company. We want our work to reach Off- West End Theatres and the West End and we know we can, but we need your support!
Any donations, big or small are appreciated! However, donating money is not the only way you can help! You can also share our production and Click-Fund Campaign on social media or by word of mouth - and of course, buy your ticket for Merrily, Merrily, Merrily!
