PROVIDING INNOVATIVE AND MEANINGFUL SERVICES TO OUR LOCAL COMMUNITIES

STUDENT LED SERVICES

The launch of the innovative Health, Wellbeing and Care Hub at the University of Essex has enabled members of our local community to access services that are not currently available within statutory health and social care organisations.  The services are designed around health and social care students delivering meaningful group and one-to-one sessions under the guidance and clinical supervision of the Hub’s registered workforce.  The Hub works closely with our local integrated care systems to ensure they are developing services that meet gaps in the existing community offer.  By being part of the University, the Hub also enables cutting-edge clinical research to take place, which will inform the delivery of health and social care in our local system for the future.  Our services are co-produced with our local community and adapted to meet the needs of those who attend.  This unique service model enables students to learn and flourish in a supportive clinical environment, whilst offering valuable services that meet the needs of our community.

RE-INVESTMENT

All donations received will be re-invested back into the Hub, to enable continual development and expansion of the services.  Donors will have the opportunity to receive information on what projects their donations have gone towards and the positive impact they have made.
