Who are WE?
We are a collaborative team of theatre students. Our project is a bold, experimental reinterpretation of the classic fairy tale Beauty and the Beast, blending traditional Chinese opera , modern rap, electronic music, and physical theatre.

What happens when a beast who sings Chinese opera and practices traditional court steps meets a beauty who writes Shakespearean sonnets and dreams in pop melodies?In our version, the beast is a millennia-old cultivator seeking immortality; the beauty is a free-spirited writer grappling with love and creativity. Through a series of dreamlike encounters, they debate the nature of love—is it serious, or is it free? Is it a duty, or a choice?With original music, striking visual design, and a fusion of Eastern and Western performance styles, we invite you into a garden where roses dream and love is rewritten.
