TRAINing for Advanced open water diving

I'm raising £750 to go to Malta and train to get the advanced open-water diving qualification!

This would allow me to improve my scuba diving skills, allowing me to work and volunteer on a wider range of scientific projects.

Who am i?

I'm a BSc Biology student, whose area of interest is ecology and plants.

I recently went to Indonesia to learn to SCUBA dive and to apply that to a scientific endeavour.

WHY donate?

Money donated will help me receive this training which brings me closer to being able to work on marine-based ecology projects which require advanced SCUBA diving skills. With climate change goals having a focus on 'blue carbon', being able to work in environments like seagrass meadows and mangroves will be essential skills to me as an ecologist.

Where will the money go?

• ~£400 PADI AOWD training cost
• ~£150 flights
• ~£150 accommodation
• £50 food and other costs
