About us

Pravda Theatre is a new theatre company, created by recent graduates of BA World Performance at East 15 Acting School, Joshua Chandos and Emily Collier. 'Pravda' translates from Russian as 'Truth', reflecting the ethos of our work. We aim to produce new, thought-provoking theatre and honest stories; allowing voices to be heard whilst changing perspectives.

WHere you come in...

Our first outing is at Camden Fringe Festival 2019 where we will be performing our play Grief Encounter. This show examines how those we leave behind find resolution in loss. Through the five stages of grief (shock, denial, anger, depression and acceptance), we tell our story, a universal story of struggling and giggling through the worst thing life throws at us, death. Grief Encounter is a light-hearted look into the inevitable.
