A short summary of your project
I'm raising £630 to complete the setup of my brand new first aid training company, AER+ Training!
AER+ Training will not only provide first aid courses for companies to stay compliant with health and safety law, but it will also invest its profits into the local community. It will invest in new lifesaving clubs and other lifesaving initiatives to help more young people learn vital skills, including how to perform CPR, first aid, self-survival, and aquatic rescues.
Who are you?
I'm Adam, founder of AER+ Training and a former business student at the University of Essex.
Your story
I'm on a mission to raise the profile of lifesaving in the East of England, starting with Suffolk. Currently, there is a limited number of lifesaving clubs delivering important skills to young people, one of which I am on the committee of. I want to see more clubs across the county and improved investment in existing initiatives. This is why my first aid training company will invest for the future of lifesaving.
I've been a part of the world of lifesaving since I was born and it has had such an impact on my life, from leading me to my first job to providing me with increased confidence levels. In addition, it has seen me compete at the National Lifesaving Championships 7 times! It truely is an incredible world to be part of and I can't wait for more people to join it!
Not only is it great fun and so valuable for improving people's skills, it could also save YOUR life one day.
Where will the money go?
If I reach the minimum target, I will buy one branded t-shirt
If I reach the full target, I will buy two t-shirts, two hoodies, a coat, make SEO improvements, buy a pop-up banner, and purchase 1000 flyers to promote the initiative.
If things really take off, I will use the extra money to buy a life-threatening bleed training kit and spend more on advertising.
I'll give updates every time I use some of the funds.
The breakdown of costs are as follows:
- Branded Clothing (2x t-shirts, 2x hoodies, 1x coat): £175.72
- SEO Optimisation: £300
- Pop-up banner: £107.98
- 1000 flyers: £39.49
